The COM600F is a multi-function substation automation, feeder automation and data management unit. Together with protection and control relays and other communication equipment, it provides intelligent solutions for utility or industrial medium voltage distribution substations. The COM600F performs a combined role of user interface, communication gateway and automation platform in a single physical unit to facilitate substation operation and data management. Optional algorithms provide intelligent feeder automation, including self-healing networks.
The COM600F unit is suitable for web-based functions and access to substation equipment and processes via a web browser-based human machine interface (HMI). All standard substation monitoring and control aspects can be processed using the Web HMI.
