AC800M High Integrity Controller
The AC800M HI controller provides a TOV SIL3 certified process safety control environment via a single controller. The AC800M High Integrity Controller is built with an integrated processor module (PM867) and a security module (SM812). The flexible redundancy mechanism allows the controller configuration to include up to four configurations.
For SIL applications, there are three EC61131-3 languages, function block diagrams, structured text and sequential function diagrams to choose from. For non-SIL applications, all five IEC61131-3 languages are available.
High integrity I/O
Safety I/O is a distributed, highly modular, flexible I/O system that makes I/O module installation and device wiring easier. Modules and terminal devices can be installed and combined in many different configurations to suit any space requirement or to meet the needs of any application. Hot-swap functionality and redundancy increase system availability and allow maintenance activities to be performed without disrupting the process.
The I/O family has SIL3 certified modules for safety-critical applications, including 4-20 mA analog inputs, 24 VDC digital inputs and 24 VDC digital outputs. The digital output module provides both normally closed (ESD) and normally open (F&G) outputs. The analog inputs support HART routing for easy calibration and diagnostics through configurable channels, while the digital inputs support local time stamping of signal changes to help improve accuracy and sequence sequencing of events.
Control Builder Safe Engineering Tools
Control Builder Safe comes with a wide range of pre-defined solutions that are stored in standard libraries, including data types, functions, function blocks, and control modules that can be used to create secure applications. SIL authentication objects and functions in the standard library are distinguished by SIL tags in engineering tools.
CompactHMI is an easy-to-use and PC-based SCADA system for real-time operation in the factory. It provides new ergonomics based on high performance graphics.
Control Builder Safe integrates a number of core features that simplify programming to ensure consistent, secure control, including:
